BMD was founded by Naval Architect/Marine Engineer, Nicholas Boksa, P.E. in April 2003 starting as a boutique naval architecture design firm working on select projects, and in March of 2007 launched as a fully operational design firm working on many luxury yacht design programs. BMD is located near Tampa Florida but provides quality design globally - assisting both builders as well as yacht owners.
